Testimonials -
"When our education authority was looking for a workshop to teach students some basics in singing I asked our school music teacher for suggestions, and he couldn't say enough about Nancy (Jackson) Thomson.
From our first meeting I felt that Nancy would be great for our school, she was very interested in learning about the students, and worked to fit her program to our students needs. I was impressed by her flexibility and her desire to work with the students, rather than to dictate to them, which I believe is a testament to her skills and expertise at working with learners"
Although I had confidence in Ms. (Jackson) Thomson, I was not sure how our students would respond to the opportunity to sing. I shouldn't have worried, in the classroom, Nancy was fantastic at engaging the kids! I was shocked to see that she had drawn out students who rarely participate and energetic students alike. It was a powerful experience to see students work together in unison, to be empowered to try something new, and to gain confidence from the sound of their own voices "
We had a wonderful time with Ms. (Jackson) Thomson and her colleague, and would gladly have her back again. "

Nancy was an excellent clinician for our choir. We
have a wide variety of musical knowledge amongst our choristers (beginning
singers to experienced singers who are musically literate) and Nancy
was able to connect to all of us with her very charming and knowledgeable
manner. Her tremendous expertise and immense skill as a vocal coach
was of great benefit to us. She has a wonderful sense of humour which
she used to great advantage in helping us to understand how to make
a better choral sound. The choir loved working with Nancy and felt
they learned so much from her. They could tell their sound improved
almost immediately with her coaching. A number of choristers even
suggested that we have Nancy as a guest clinician every year!

Nancy held a Singing Workshop for our youth group in early February and taught us the fundamentals of singing. She then worked with us as we prepared for a competition at the end of March.
We had the best experience with Nancy, without her we wouldn't have sounded so professional. She taught us many useful things that we have made use of when we sing in our meetings.
We enjoyed our lessons and are really thankful that she dedicated her time to teach us better singing techniques. We plan to work with her again in the near future.
